Strategi Destination Branding Desa Wisata Taman Sekar Wilis Desa Sareng Kecamatan Geger Kabupaten Madiun

Abstract


This thesis is entitled Destination Branding Strategy for Taman Rekso Wilis Tourism Village, Sareng Village, Geger District, Madiun Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategic process of Destination Branding at Taman Rekso Wilis Tourism Village, Sareng Village, Geger District, Madiun Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews and documentation related to the tourism village branding strategy of Taman Rekso Wilis which was carried out by the Sareng Village government and the results of its application to the community. The data obtained is then processed qualitatively by taking into account all the data that has been collected and categorizing it with the Morgan Branding Destination concept which contains elements that are considered in the destination branding strategy in a region. The discussion was analyzed through the results of intervies and using interpretation. A tourist destination is a name, symbol, logo, or image that can identify a particular area and dstimguish a destination, is promising, and has the impression of a destination experience. In this case, an active role for the community is needed to create a tourist destination which aims to develop tourism potential and management to produce something positive. Elements that are considered in the destination branding strategy in a region. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the destination branding strategy for the tourism village of Taman Rekso Wilis, Sareng Village, Geger District, Madiun regency carried out by the Sareng Village government is that Sareng Village government is that Sareng Village is one of the tourist destinations, especially in parks that are visited by the wider community, but on the other hand there are some sectors that still have shortcomings where the use of media is not too massive.
