MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PENGAJUAN DAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA KELAS VIII A SMP NEGERI 3 PONOROGO
Abstract
The research aims to: (1) describe the implementation of mathematics learning using a JUCAMA learning models to improve critical thinking skills and the activity of learning student, (2) describe the results of improving critical thinking skills and the activity of learning student of class VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Ponorogo through the JUCAMA learning models. The design of this study is a classroom action research (CAR). The research subject is class VIII A students with by 30 students. This study was conducted in two cycle with each cycle includes four phases: planning, implementation, monitoring/observation, and reflection. The results, the implementation of JUCAMA learning models is able to improve a critical thinking skills and the activity of learning student. The results of critical thinking skills are known from the indicators of critical thinking skills of students in the first cycle of the analysis (less high) and inference indicators (sufficient high). While in the second cycle all indicators of critical thinking ability have reached a very high category.On the results of the learning activity of student also experienced an increase, it can be seen on the cycle I is 50% (less active) while on cycle II is 90% (very active).
