CAMPUR KODE DALAM KUMPULAN CERPEN OTOK KARYA WN RAHMAN DAN KAITANNYA DENGAN BAHAN AJAR TEKS CERPEN KELAS XI SMA

Abstract

Language is the result of human activity. Human activity in language is very necessary for human life, namely humans can talk and interact with social groups. This research is influenced by the use of code mixing in the collection of Otok short stories by WN Rahman and their relation to short story text teaching materials in class XI Senior High School. This study has the use of Indonesian and regional languages (Javanese) or foreign languages, that are English and Arabic. The purpose of this study was to (1) knowing the code mixing form in the Otok short story collection by WN Rahman (2) explaining the types of code mixing in the Otok short story collection by WN Rahman (3) describing the relation of code mixing with the class XI Senior High School short story text teaching materials. 

This type of research is qualitative research. The subject that used in this study was a collection of Otok short stories by WN Rahman. The object of this research is code mixing in the collection of Otok short stories by WN Rahman. The data collection techniques in this study are (1) scrutinized method (2) reading method (3) noted method. This research instrument is in the form of the researcher himself (human instrument) using a tool in the form of a data card. The data analysis techniques using the equivalent method.

The results of this study are: (1) the form of code mixing in the collection of Otok short stories by WN Rahman in the form of words, phrases, repeated words, and clauses. (2) types of code mixing in the collection of Otok short stories by WN Rahman in the form of (a) inner code mixing, and (b) outher code mixing. (3) the relation of code mixing in the collection of Otok short stories by WN Rahman which states the relationship with the class XI Senior High School short story text teaching materials in the 2013 curriculum that revised in 2018.
