Abstract

Individualistic and collectivistic cultural backgrounds have different ways of selecting information and choosing their focus on objects. This study aims to examine holistic thinking as part of that against Inhibitory control. Circardian rhythems and fatigue mentality were also moderated to find further evidence of the influence of both in this study. By using the one group posttest-only design, 15 participants took part in the experiment.data Holistic thinking obtained from Dialectical Self-Scale (DSS), Inhibitory control with computerized stroop color word test (CSCWT) made by researchers, circardian rhythms seen from the descriptive data of the subject while kelelahan mental was assessed based on post-error slowing (PES) participants to the wrong item response. The regression results did not find a significant effect of holistic thinking on Inhibitory control (β = -. 364, p> 0.05). Nor is there a significant relationship of circadian rhythms (β = .143, p> 0.05) and kelelahan mental (β = -. 187, p> 0.05) against Inhibitory control. The moderation of circardian rhytms (β = .024, p> 0.05) and kelelahan mental (β = -. 199, p> 0.05) are not significant for holistic thinking and Inhibitory control.
