MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA MELALUI PENDEKATAN RME

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to describe the application as well as an increased understanding of the mathematical concepts of grade XB TKJ majors SMK Negeri 1 Kebonsari using Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. This type of research in this study is the PTK. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four meetings. Based on the research results obtained conclusions that: (1) the application of the approach to Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) that can increase your understanding of the mathematical concepts of students is in accordance with the step of RME with the repair effort in early learning apersepsi given on the nature of the operation and the number of integers count ranking, more students are often given examples of problem understanding the concept;  (2) all indicators understanding the concept entered the category of good except the indicator presents the concept of mathematical representation in various forms of entry categories. After repairs at cycle 2 all incoming concept understanding indicators categories either.
