Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of motion and song in early childhood learning in Jember Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The study subjects numbered ten people. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews with a total of five questions on each subject. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the application of motion and song as early childhood learning that has been done are: (1) motion and song have long been used as learning for early childhood, (2) the time used for the application of learning is the beginning and core of learning, ( 3) supporting learning media in the form of a set of sound systems, projectors and laptops, (4) the types of motion and songs used as learning are cheerful gymnastics, games and dance and (5) the benefits obtained by children consist of physical, motor, cognitive benefits and social emotional. The conclusion in this study is the application of motion and song as early childhood learning in Jember Regency has a variety of applications in each institution. Suggestions that can be given are that the movements and songs as early childhood learning continue to be carried out consistently as what has been implemented, coupled with the use of media for learning more varied movements and songs so that children tend not to get bored quickly about the learning.
