Abstract


Fulfillment of breakfast nutrition at school is still considered trivial by parents, they think by giving pocket money then the child's problems are overcome. Parents do not know the content of food provided by sellers outside the school. Malnutrition at an early age at the beginning of the life cycle is proven to have a severe impact, so at this age the importance of child nutrition is considered by parents. The purpose of community service activities is to provide information to parents regarding breakfast nutrition in early childhood, so that children are ready to face school activities. Activities carried out during socialization were discussions, question and answer, and cooking demonstrations for healthy breakfast food for children. During the activity, it was found that parents did not know the healthy breakfast menu that would be served for children. Parents respond positively and cooperatively during the activities, and state that they will pay more attention to children's nutrition before going to the school.
