FAKTOR PENYEBAB DAN SOLUSI KESALAHAN BERBAHASA PADA MAKALAH MAHASISWA DI UNIVERSITAS PGRI MADIUN (SINTAKSIS ANALISIS)

Abstract


This study aims to explain and describe the causes of errors in the syntactic level in student assignments. The subjects of this study were students who had taken MKU-BI courses at the University of PGRI Madiun, who came from various disciplines. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of referral methods followed by note-taking techniques. The data obtained are documents (in the form of papers) and the results of interviews. The data analysis technique used in this study uses the religious method or distributional method with advanced techniques in the form of expansion techniques and manifestation techniques. The conclusions of the study are the causes of language errors at the syntactic level caused by (1) influenced by the language that was mastered first, (2) lack of understanding of language users on the language they use, (3) teaching language that is less precise or less perfect. Solutions to overcome these problems include: (1) Lecturers must be more innovative in lectures and always review the results of student assignments, and (2) Creativity Program from the University.
