STRUKTUR DAN NILAI PENDIDIKAN CERITA MINTARAGA GANCARAN KARYA PRIJOHOETOMO

Abstract


The role of literature in the formation and development of life values is very great for humans. The purpose of this article is to illustrate the structure and value of education in the story of Mintaraga Gancaran by Prijohoetomo. The method used is descriptive qualitative, by identifying the contents of the stories contained in the Mintaraga Gancaran story along with the educational value contained in the story. Data was obtained from content analysis and also interviews with competent speakers about puppet stories. The results of this study are the structure forming the story of Mintaraga Gancaran consisting of intrinsic and extrinsic elements that are complete and have educational values for the viewers. The value of education is in the form of social values, religion, humanity, and so forth. The story also corresponds to social reality in human life.
