THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN INDEPENDENCE LEARNING AND PARENTS’ ATTENTION WITH THE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF KDPK SUBJECTS IN SEMESTER II STUDENTS IN THE HARAPAN MULYA ACADEMY OF MIDWIFERY PONOROGO.

Abstract


Learning achievement is the appearance of learning outcomes. Learning achievement can be
measured by doing the evaluation of learning among other tests that can determine Summative
Achievement Index (IP) (Winkel, 1999; 93). The results of the evaluation grade of 40 students in
the regular semester courses KDPK (Basic Concepts of Clinical Practice) in getting that 15%
good, 55% fairly and 30% less. This aims of this study is to determine the relationship between
independence learning achievement and Parents’ Attention with The Learning Achievement of
KDPK Subjects in Semester II Students in the Harapan Mulya Academy of Midwifery Ponorogo.
An observational cross-sectional analytic approach was used. The sampling technique sed is the
overall number of regular students second semester. In this study the sample used is a regular
student semester 2010/2011 academic year, 40 students in AKBID Harapan Mulya Ponorogo. Data
analysis technique is technically simple correlation, multiple correlation and multiple regression
with a significance level of 0.05. There is a learning relationship with the learning achievement of
independence obtained t count value of 7.161 with a level of .000 sig, there is a parental
relationship with the learning achievement of the value t count sig .007 2.702 level, whereas the
results of multiple regression analysis with in getting that self-reliance learning and attention of
parents jointly affect learning achievement of the value of R square of 0.566 with a level of .000
sig, or can dikataka that the independence of learning and attention of parents have an influence of
58.8%.The conclusions are: 1) There is a significant and positive relationship with learning
achievement learning independence. 2) There is a significant and positive relationship the attention
of parents with learning achievement. 3) There are significant positive relationships and quality of
the learning process and interest in learning with learning achievement.
